Global Diversity Day and Refugee Week

To celebrate Global Diversity Day on 21st May, we asked families to share their cooking skills! You really delivered and we got to try some delicous food from all over the world. Thank you! Parish children also led a worship which was watched by the whole Trust.

You can access community support from the Refugee Resettlement Service here https://www.sthelens.gov.uk/article/3973/Contacts

A place of sanctuary at Parish C of E Primary - Our Pledge

At Parish, we welcome, belong and are inclusive for all children, families and staff. We allow children to have their voices heard and story understood. Sometimes, some voices are harder to hear than others, which is why we have committed to listen. We are widening our support to ensure that vulnerable groups are recognised and supported at Parish. We are proudly working towards the Schools of Sanctuary Award, and will celebrate our progress here.

We are so proud to have also recently achieved the Rainbow Flag Award and the Global Neighbours Bronze Award.
