We have very strong links with our church, Parish Church, which is located in the centre of St.Helens. On a regular basis, clergy lead collective worship in school and school leads worship at church across the Christian calendar.
Reverend Rachel often joins us in school for our curriculum RE sessions too!
Representatives of the church have a strong guiding influence on our school’s mission and future direction, and we liaise closely with representatives of the Liverpool Diocese.
As a Voluntary Aided School the majority of our governors are appointed by the church authorities.
Worship
Sunday 10.30 am
On each Sunday we have a 10.30 am service in Church, which is open to everybody with a creche area available. In addition to worship and biblical teaching, we celebrate Communion each 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday in the month.
Families would be particularly welcome at the 4th Sunday, which they may find more family friendly.
