Disaster in Pompeii!

In English, we have been reading 'Escape from Pompeii' by Christina Balit. We were amazed and saddened to learn more about the tragic volcanic eruption which devastated the beautiful city thousands of years ago. We decided that if the tragedy had happened in modern times, it definitely would have made the National news. Therefore we decided to use IMovie to make our own news broadcasts. Learning journalistic phrases for our reports will come in very handy when we write Newspaper Reports in class!
