We have very strong links with our church, Parish Church, which is located in the centre of St.Helens. On a regular basis, clergy lead collective worship in school and church outreach workers organise a ‘Good News’ club on a weekly basis. We also attend  ‘ Parish Praise’ services which occur on regular Sundays throughout the year.

Representatives of the church have a strong guiding influence on our school’s mission and future direction, and we liaise closely with representatives of the Liverpool Diocese.

As a Voluntary Aided School the majority of our governors are appointed by the church authorities.

Worship

Sunday 9.00 am

Each Sunday at 9.00 am we have a short, traditional service of Morning Worship. Each 1st and 4th Sunday this includes Holy Communion.

Sunday 10.45 am

On each Sunday we have a 10.45 am service in Church. Our morning service is open to everyone, but aims to be especially family friendly and at every service there are activities for children and a crèche area. In addition to worship and biblical teaching, we celebrate Communion each 1st and 4th Sunday in the month.

There is a special service on the 2nd Sunday of each month, Parish Praise, where we focus on the relationship with our school, the Parish Church of England School.
