The Good Samaritan

We have been looking at the story of 'the Good Samaritan' as part of our RE topic - stories Jesus heard.  The children enjoyed dressing up as the characters and helping each other. They also shared ideas about how they could help people and each other. We was lucky enough to have a visit from the food bank in St. Helens who came to tell us about the very important job that they do to help people. The children created some fabulous pictures of the food that can be taken to the food bank and the volunteers were really pleased to take these pictures back with them and display them for their visitors.
