Food Bank

As part of Harvest, Year Five asked for food donations for the St Helens Foodbank.  We discussed why there is a need for it and how we can help those less fortunate than ourselves in our local community.

We displayed the food in our school entrance and thanked people for their kind donations during our Harvest Service in church. Miss Roden, Mrs Aspinall-Wood and two Year Five children then delivered our contributions to the Foodbank. Whilst there, we asked some questions that we discussed as a class.
