Parish Praise

As a Church of England school we have very strong links with Parish Church, which is situated in Church Square in the town centre. Reverend Eastwood and other members of the church regularly come in to school to lead our daily worship; and the children also regularly visit the church to celebrate and worship.

‘Parish Praise’ is a family service held in Parish Church on the second Sunday of every month at 10.30 a.m. All the children and their families are invited on these occasions, which are always lively and entertaining. Our children are actively involved in leading the worship either through song, dance or drama, which is always a highlight of the service. If you like the sound of this then why not come along and join us? Everyone is most welcome and there are always free refreshments available at the end of the service.

We also hold a termly ‘Parish Praise Club’ in school for children and their parents. The sessions include bible stories, singing and art activities. Again all parents and children are welcome to come along and join in the fun.

In addition to all the above we hold a weekly lunchtime ‘Good News Club’, which all children can attend. This is lead by Jess the children’s worker from Parish Church and focuses on learning about Jesus through stories and song.
